Hitech originated from squash shoes in the UK in 1974.
The hiking shoe "Sierra," released in 1978, introduced the concept of "lightweight" to outdoor shoes that had previously been heavy and commonplace, gaining popularity.
It became a major topic in Japan at the time, when the outdoor boom was just beginning.
Since then, they have expanded a wide lineup from trekking shoes for climbers aiming for high peaks to camping shoes for outdoor play.
It is an outdoor lifestyle brand loved by many outdoor enthusiasts.
