KANEMASA PHIL.'s unique 46G super high-gauge jersey is crafted with meticulous attention to everything from the material to the sewing and dyeing process, just as the name suggests.
We use 100% 80/1 recycled Subin cotton.
The fabric has been salted and reduced.
This material has a unique grainy texture and is one of a kind found in the world.
After that, we apply product dyeing. We apply a special soft dyeing process to better appreciate the drape and sheer feel of the material.
Each piece is naturally dried one by one, preserving the texture of the material during drying.
Highly stretchable, you won't be able to stop once you put it on, and it's a new classic material that you can throw on effortlessly.
We finish with meticulous attention to detail using high-gauge materials, which are said to be thin and difficult.
Hem, sleeves, pocket cuts, yokes, cuff gathers, and other finishing are done at domestic sewing factories in Japan.
Finished with a shell and butterfly button engraved with the brand logo on the back.
Features a boxy silhouette with a sturdy width. The drape and uncut hem when worn give the shirt a unique atmosphere.
To let you enjoy the material, we minimize interlining and build the silhouette solely based on the texture of the fabric.

To preserve our unique knitting machines specialized for high gauge, jacquard machines that can freely express various patterns, and the unique techniques and craftsmanship that allow us to freely operate these knitting machines, our own brand KANEMASA was launched from the 2021 SS season. * Starting from the 2023AW season, the brand name will be changed to "KANEMSA PHIL." upon overseas announcements.
The brand's iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant, blending the 1960s era at the founding's founding with European culture.
