This is an original denim fabric woven in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture.
Organic cotton is used for the warp thread, and only the surface is dyed with indigo through rope dyeing, leaving the core of the thread white.
Hemp is used for the weft, and the more you wear it, the lighter the indigo color changes, while the hemp transforms into a cotton-like supple form while maintaining strength.
This fabric lets you enjoy watching the texture deepen over time.
The thickness is designed to allow you to wear it through the hot to the cold seasons.
By wearing and washing it repeatedly, the threads loosen and become more flexible, while the hemp thread on the skin provides a refreshing sensation.
These wide-cut, nine-quarter length pants with tapered designs offer a new silhouette.
While considering the context of workwear, MITTAN has redefined it as a unique everyday tool without following the traditional shape of jeans.
The entire waistband features stretch material and a front-opening design.
By simply sewing the sides and inner thighs of the main body, we reduce the burden on the fabric while also considering ease of repair.
The buttons feature water buffalo horn.
