The long length is designed so you can wear it over your backpack.
Additionally, the underarm ventilation, not found in the original, allows you to reach inside the garment without taking it off, and adds temperature regulation inside the garment.
The hood is so large it can be worn over a helmet, and it features a windbreak that covers your face, so when not in use, it can be stored inside the hood—making this piece packed with gimmicks throughout.
The padding amount is adjusted to ensure the Japanese climate in recent years, ease of layering, and the amount of padding that doesn't take up space when taken off or stored, resulting in a clean silhouette that is oversized yet not overly bulky.
By not putting logos on the surface, the design is simpler and more sophisticated.
The outer fabric uses CORDURA nylon with CZEREX processing, and the filling uses CLIMASHIELD COMBAT.

Sizelex features environmentally friendly, highly durable water-repellent processing that does not contain fluorine compounds.

Furthermore, compared to typical fluorine-based water-repellent fabrics, the contact area between the fabric and water droplets is smaller, making it easier for water droplets to roll even at gentle angles.

This special American-made padding meets the "Berry Compliant" (in accordance with the U.S. law requiring the use of domestically produced materials for defense product procurement), offers excellent storage capacity, durability, and provides insulation even in wet or humid environments thanks to AquaBan's features.
Aquavan is a proprietary surface treatment technology developed to enhance the permeability of moisture from the body to the outside of the product and minimize its impact on insulation. It is used only on a limited range of Clyma Shield series.
This ensures warmth and dry comfort even in wet or humid environments.
