WORKERS, a tool bag that has long been nostalgic for our longtime customers, is back after a long time. Main body is No. 4 canvas / approx. 23.5 oz, Bottom No. 6 canvas / approx. 19 oz Size: Width and bottom about 31 cm, height 30 cm, depth 18 cm. The width tapers upward, so the mouth can be up to about 40 centimeters. Handle length: Short 25 cm, Long 60 cm (shoulder strap length) On the outside, there is an outer pocket on one side. At first glance, it looks the same as the one I made before... but the fabric, factory, sewing thread, name, and tape are all different. The fabric is No. 4 canvas for the main body. They intentionally use fabric without ears (selvedge). This was because we were too particular about selvedge before, so it was said that "it could only be made at this weaving factory." In fact, the factory we first hired had already closed down. This time, the premise was that the fabric would be stable and not made from selvidge. On top of that, we aimed for something beyond selvage. The problem is the side section. If you don't use a selvedge, you have to "fold" or "lock and sew." Folding and sewing is obviously cleaner, but the sewing difficulty is much higher. So, after searching for it, I found a factory in the neighboring town of my father's hometown. The president there was a sewing machine, I get along well with someone who loves trumpets. Because of that, I feel comfortable ordering it. (The labor cost is quite high, though) The folded part of the side acts as a bone, The bag stands on its own even without any contents. As expected, tote bags are easier to use when they stand on their own. The bottom is size 6. Add a connector in the center for a design accent. Originally, the fabric was narrow, and I intentionally kept a special feature for using selvage in the triangle (it's hard and tough! It costs labor costs! That's what people say.) The sewing thread is a thick polyester yarn. The surface is coated to prevent twisting back. At first glance, the name is the same as before. But in the past, printing was done on sheeting, and this time it's printed on coated fabric. The pattern stands out even more sharply. I searched for tape and found the producer. I went right away and heard about it, and found an extra-hard, thick tape called 'Cotton Cloth Power Loom Tape.' This tape of the same width also comes from a power loom and a separate loom, and the power loom is especially thick. However, productivity is poor, and if there is no stock, the wait is extremely long. But even if I wait, I have to wait for this tape. We also have more stock at WORKERS. (Currently, I'm also working on black dyeing.) Meeting a new factory made things different from before. We aimed for the highest quality we could produce now.
