orSlowより1950年代初期のジーンズを分析し企画されたデニム105XX THE 1950S SELVEDGE DENIM 。
20周年を記念し、1950年代初期のジーンズを分析し企画されたモデル。
1953年の機械で紡績された糸を使い、旧式のシャットル織機で織り上げられたデニムは、 1950年代初期のジーンズ同様の自然なムラのある色落ちをしていきます。
縫製には、綿素材のデニムによくなじみ、生地同様に変化していく綿の糸を使用しています。
1950年代同様の製法にて生産しているため、脇線が右側にねじれていきますが、これは不良品ではなく当時のジーンズを再現したものです。
シルエットは既存の105と比べやや太くなります。
シルエットは、スタンダードモデルの105よりもゆとりのあるシルエットで、生地も柔らかく軽いので、通年を通して穿いていただけるアイテムです。

orSlow presents the 105XX THE 1950S SELVEDGE DENIM, a denim designed by analyzing jeans from the early 1950s. To commemorate their 20th anniversary, this model was designed by analyzing jeans from the early 1950s. Using yarn spun on a 1953 machine and woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, this denim exhibits the same natural, uneven fading as jeans from the early 1950s. The stitching uses cotton thread, which blends well with cotton denim and changes color just like the fabric. Since it is produced using the same manufacturing methods as the 1950s, the side seams may twist to the right. This is not a defect but a reproduction of the jeans of that time. The silhouette is slightly wider than the existing 105. The silhouette is looser than the standard 105 model, and the fabric is soft and light, making it an item that can be worn year-round.
