This is a shoulder bag made from Italian leather "SETA." The leather is tanned by Conceria La Bretagna, a long-established Italian tannery, and SETA means "silk" in Italian. This leather is characterized by its silky smooth texture and luxurious luster. This product is designed with a rocking chair in mind. Made with two types of Italian leather: SETA and Buttero (bottom and shoulder straps are Buttero, the rest is SETA). We tried to use as few metal fittings as possible to create a simple bag that would go well with any style. It can store a folding wallet, cell phone, pouch, etc., and the shoulder strap can be adjusted to three levels. It is tanned using a metal-free method that results in a metal content of less than one part per million. (Even with vegetable tanning, some metal fibers are said to adhere to the leather during the tanning process, making it a more environmentally friendly leather.) Like Selvaggio, this leather's color and luster improve with use. The SELVAGGIO tanner has fond memories of his grandfather sitting in the armchair when he was still a child, and of him sharing stories in that chair. Selvaggio leather was born as a homage to that beautiful memory. The leather is slowly tanned over time using the traditional baguette method, and oil is then impregnated into the leather by hand. A distinctive feature of the leather is that it is washed after dyeing, giving it a unique, vintage-like texture. The more it is used, the more glossy and the deeper the color becomes. Both SETA and SELVAGGIO are made from leather by Bretagna, a tannery located in San Miniato, Tuscany, Italy. They use only the part of the cow known as the shoulder, which is a precious leather as not much leather can be obtained from the shoulder of a single cow. Precautions *We make use of the texture of natural materials, so there may be uneven wrinkles, variations in shade in certain areas, and spots on the surface that are inherent to leather. *Please note that due to the use of natural materials, slight differences in size and weight may occur. *If it gets wet due to rain or other reasons, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth and dry it in the shade. Also, be careful not to rub it against clothing. *Please avoid using waterproof spray as it may cause stains. *Maintenance: When storing, we recommend applying oil to the entire surface and storing it in a well-ventilated place. Other than that, the leather is generally well oiled, so no further maintenance is necessary. If you feel that it has become dry, applying leather oil will restore its luster. * Regarding color transfer: As a precaution, we recommend wiping the surface with a towel before use. However, since natural tannins are used, some color fading and changes due to exposure to water or friction are unavoidable.
