It's hard to find a tweed fabric that I think is perfect in the lineup of fabric stores, so I ordered it specially. Since I was going to do it, I wanted to use cotton for the weft rather than 100% wool, so that it would have a slightly more substantial feel. However, it turned out to be lighter than I expected. But it's still comfortable to wear, so it's good. Of course, we also wondered if we could keep costs down compared to 100% wool. Everything is too expensive these days. Clothes made in Japan are reaching a price range that makes it difficult for customers to buy, so we thought we could find a way to keep costs down while still creating a different feel from the standard 100% wool.
