WORKERS Lot 857, Sanforized, 13 oz Ishikawadai Denim

A Type 3 denim jacket. I wanted to wear one! But what I disliked was the unique silhouette with a tightly cinched waist. So, I tried making one in 25FW by changing that silhouette to the boxy silhouette of the "Type 1" without the cinching, and I think it's easy to wear. However, the 25FW version used "unshrunk, raw" fabric, so it twisted. It was a Type 3 that twisted just like the Type 1. This time, I used fabric that prevents twisting, so not only is it "without the waist cinching like the Type 1," but it's also "not twisted"—a true "box silhouette" Type 3. The buttons were also newly made in a brown color to match the shrink-resistant fabric. The denim is made using yarn with a natural uneven shape, spun on a 70-year-old spinning machine called "Ishikawadai." WORKERS' standard WKS-MEM7 reproduces the uneven shape taken from vintage clothing using a computer-controlled spinning machine, so even though they're both called "uneven yarn," the manufacturing methods are different. The difference in the final fading will be something to look forward to after wearing it for a while. The product is already washed.
