Riprap's three-quarter length socks (regular length).
"Can wool socks, which are typically worn with suits, also be worn in casual settings?"
With that in mind, I commissioned HALISON, a sock manufacturer in Hyogo Prefecture, to make a special order for dress socks, which are normally knitted in a high gauge like tights, in a medium-weight, mid-gauge knit.
We designed them so they can be worn with sneakers without looking out of place.
The material used is New Zealand merino wool, which feels wonderful against the skin.
It doesn't itch at all and doesn't feel stuffy from sweat. It also has odor-resistant properties and dries quickly. It's a material suitable for socks.
Nylon thread is used for the backing to increase durability.
The opening of the shoe is made of Lycra polyurethane. The comfortable fit, which isn't too tight, feels great.
Mid-gauge wool socks are characterized by their breathability and comfort during the spring and summer seasons, and their moderate warmth during the autumn and winter seasons.
In addition to classic colors like white, charcoal, and black, the collection also includes vibrant, pop seasonal colors that are unusual for traditional products.
*This product uses off-scale processed washable wool (shrink-resistant wool), so it can be washed in a household washing machine. Please refrain from using a dryer as it may cause some shrinkage.
* The threads sewing the sock label (ticket) and the threads sewing the toe area can be easily unraveled by hand. Please refrain from using scissors as this may damage the sock itself.
