■TOMPKINS Jersey
We use an old-fashioned American knitting machine called "Tompkins." Unlike conventional knitting machines, its main structural feature is that it knits slowly from bottom to top, which reduces stress on the fabric. As a result, the fabric has a fluffy texture, is soft, and conforms comfortably to the body.
■Details: Made from high-quality US cotton knitted in a seamless, tubular construction (no seams on the sides), this garment offers a stress-free and comfortable fit.
While the design is minimalist with unnecessary elements removed, it is accented by a special neckline specification called "parent-child binder," which reproduces an archive design from the 1960s. This specification is a detail unique to that era that prevented the neckline from becoming misshapen.
A comfortable, slightly loose fit that can be worn as both an inner layer and a top.
The packaging, featuring a design inspired by 1960s archives, gives it the feel of a deadstock item.
