MITTAN High-Twist Silk Tsumugi Wide Long-Sleeve Top T-42

This fabric uses spun silk yarn made from recycled parts of silk that cannot be used for silk production, such as waste cocoons. To address the drawbacks of silk knit fabrics, such as their tendency to sag and their low friction resistance, the yarn is tightly twisted to create an original fabric with improved elasticity and strength. Silk has excellent moisture absorption, moisture release, and heat retention properties, and is a protein fiber composed of amino acids similar to those found in human skin, making it comfortable to wear against the skin.
This garment features a very flat design with no shoulder slopes or curved armholes; everything except the neckline is made up of straight lines. While the design is simple, the collar, cuffs, and hem use a different fabric grain to prevent stretching, ensuring they won't become stretched out over time. It has a wider silhouette than the T-09.
