When the Berlin Wall fell, Peter Brunsberg, born on the East German side, was a 16-year-old boy who endured rigorous daily training to join the national volleyball team.
With the fall of the wall, his entire life plan within socialism was completely blank. While considering what he should do next, at age 20, he was captivated by an American bicycle messenger he saw on TV and, together with a friend, started Germany's first messenger service.
At that time, we used messenger bags imported from America, but after imitating and imitating them, we started making our own original bags. These improved problems with existing bags became popular among professional messengers, and Bagjack was founded 22 years ago. We continue to make custom bags for professional messengers, and our flexibility to experiment with various materials and designs has been recognized, and our fashion bags are now available in select shops worldwide.
No matter the design or material, the company never compromises on the standard that professional messengers can use as work tools, which is the reason for its enduring popularity.
In addition to its own bag brand, it also designs and produces bags for Stone Island, develops bags and accessories for the Hollywood film industry, develops equipment for German government and military SPs and special forces, and designs bags for multiple listed German companies, highlighting its role as an industrial design workshop.
Bagjack products are highly regarded in several Asian countries, including Japan, but they are still produced in Berlin, Germany's capital, and while they can be expensive, it cannot be denied that they lack the production capacity to meet market demand. Therefore, we decided to launch a brand as a collaborative partner for bag production.
This BAICYCLON by Bagjack capsule collection was assembled in consultation with the German side based on the base fabric standards, preserving Bagjack's functionality and DNA while being reasonably priced.
