A deadstock fabric series that sources unused materials from shuttered fabric mills across Japan. From iconic brands of the '80s through the early 2000s, we seek out unique and compelling textiles, no matter where they come from.
This time, we are working with deadstock fabrics from Watahiko Tex, a historic mill that produced high quality textiles for 180 years. Although the company sadly closed in 2023, we have carefully selected some of their beautiful wool fabrics for this release.
The Circular Pants have become one of Sillage's most iconic designs, featuring adjustable double drawcords at the waist, two patch pockets at the back, and shell buttons. The Circular Pants are the roundest and widest in Sillage's wardrobe.

The Deadstock Fabric Series involves finding deadstock fabrics from defunct fabric factories across Japan and using them to create products.
From fabrics from a certain famous brand from the 1980s to around 2000, to prototype fabrics, we'll be picking out all sorts of interesting fabrics.
This time, we're featuring deadstock from the 1990s, developed by the British company Moon specifically for Poul Smith.
These fabrics are not only rare, but also have a unique texture and are truly beautiful.

These pants, a signature item from Sillage, are characterized by their extremely wide, circular silhouette.
Despite its wide, relaxed silhouette, the drape created by the sharp taper is what gives these pants their unique beauty.
The iconic two drawstrings have been fitted with stoppers for easier wear.


Sillage is a Japanese fashion brand launched in 2018 by Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau.
