Washi paper is a material that NOROLL uses regularly.
This is a classic knit bucket hat made from a crisp yarn blended with washi paper, polyester, and nylon, knitted in an original color with a twisted weave.
The reason for using washi paper material is its excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, resistance to pilling, wrinkle resistance, and high functionality.
And above all, I am drawn to its roots as a material that has been used since ancient times in Japan for various products such as lanterns, umbrellas, books, and letters, as well as for traditional crafts and sculptures, and I often use it for that reason.
I've been fine-tuning my knit bucket hat for several seasons, pursuing my ideal shape, and this time, I've come quite close to achieving the perfect depth and silhouette balance.
However, since it's knitted, it's fine to stretch it by hand while wearing it, and it's recommended to let it conform to the shape of your head.

NOROLL started in 2012 with hats as its core product, and now also offers apparel.
Most of the production takes place in Japan, and the company is constantly exploring original domestic fabrics and unique details.
