・Material Description <About the raw cotton> Both the warp and weft threads are made from custom-ordered slub yarn, and the raw cotton is 100% organic cotton from Turkey.
The raw cotton is produced in a manufacturing process that has passed the GOTS certification program, and both the cotton fields and the ginning process meet strict quality control standards to ensure that no non-organic cotton is mixed in.
<About the spinning process> We reproduce natural variations in the spinning process using the latest computer control technology.
Unlike typical slub yarns, this yarn features random variations in length and volume, resulting in a natural, rather than cyclical, uneven texture.
In the spinning process, in order to spin thick yarns, we intentionally use raw cotton that can also be spun into fine yarns.
Therefore, it has an even more luxurious appearance.
<About raw fabric weaving> Although the warp and weft threads are thick, the weft thread count is carefully adjusted so that the denim is not too stiff, resulting in a supple and exquisitely high-quality fabric.
<About Dyeing> C/# LBE and BRN are rope dyed using sulfur dyes. C/# WBK is rope dyed with sulfur black for the warp threads and cheese dyed with sulfur black for the weft threads.
By using different dyeing methods for the warp and weft threads, this double-dyed black denim has a three-dimensional, nuanced look that sets it apart from plain-dyed denim.
