Riprap French Front Regular Collar Shirt (Cotton Poplin Stripe). A regular collar shirt with a French front, designed with the utmost attention to understated details. Features a relaxed body width and armholes, and a beautifully shaped collar that combines inner and outer curves. Made from 120/2 cotton stripe, known for its supple feel. The color is a subtly nuanced beige/maroon (burgundy) combination, a brand specialty. Sewing is handled by a dress shirt factory that boasts some of the best craftsmanship in Japan. It uses 80-count thread with ultra-fine stitching of 27 stitches per 3cm. At first glance, it appears delicate with thin lines running through it, but it's durably constructed. Armholes and sides are finished with French seams, where fabric edges are not visible. The placket on the cuffs is attached with a kangaroo finish. While seemingly an ordinary shirt that could be found anywhere, a closer look at the details reveals the skilled craftsmanship in each aspect. A simple design with a relaxed silhouette.
