Description
Our re-engineered overshirts feature a new finish that sets them apart from their predecessor, which was slightly shorter and cut with a straight hem.
This edition is crafted from rare Japanese deadstock fabrics from the 1980s and 1990s.
Due to the limited availability of these archival materials, only a small number of shirts could be produced.
Ready to ship in 2 to 3 business days.
This is my second collaboration with Aaron Glasson (born in Auckland in 1983). Aaron is a multidisciplinary artist from New Zealand.
Since earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design degree from Auckland University of Technology in 2005, I have worked on exhibitions and public art projects around the world.
His diverse range of works encompasses a wide variety of fields, including participatory installations, paintings, drawings, sculptures, architecture, assemblages, murals, and video art.
Despite working with a wide range of media, Grasson has built a consistent, abstract visual language.
Based on geometry, and inspired by natural phenomena and inner explorations, his paintings present a perspective on both the micro and macro environments.
These forms have evolved into large-scale site-specific installations, creating interactive experiences that encourage audience participation, and developing into functional objects that explore the practical possibilities of art beyond traditional boundaries.
At the heart of his practice is the exploration of "ecosystems" and a critique of the ever-changing relationship between humans and nature.
Through diverse forms of expression, the artist develops a world of work that is poetic, participatory, and evokes environmental awareness.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
JP Sillage is a Japanese fashion brand launched in 2018 by Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau.
Launched as a platform to express the sensibilities of Yutanan, who have garnered attention on social media. Although the clothing is oversized, Yutanan'sコーディネート (outfits) are somehow very modern, fashionable, and uniquely styled.
Sillage is a French word meaning "the feeling that a scent evokes past memories." Just as a fragrance can awaken past memories, it leaves a strong impression on people's minds.
Through the brand's unique designs and distinctive oversized silhouettes, those who wear the garments will strongly experience the brand's worldview and become deeply etched in their memories.
In addition to fashion and art, including shirts, we also offer items created in collaboration with unique partners such as restaurants.
