Starting from the fabric used in Macy's fishing jackets from the 1920s, this textile is reconstructed originally while preserving the atmosphere of that era.
For the warp and weft yarns, we use blended yarns mainly made from American cotton, which have natural weak unevenness. Its dry, slightly rough touch creates a sense of vintage depth.
In the final process, a hardened finish using special resin is applied, and the resin, originally applied to impart water repellency, gradually peels off over time and leaves some areas behind.
It recreates a unique texture reminiscent of old workwear worn over many years.
