A classic Modified Fit shirt. The BD is inspired by vintage Brks. The stand collar fits the tie nicely. But it's not too high, and not too low. The lapels are neither too long nor too short. The length is about 75cm, which is the master size, so you can wear it with the hem tucked in or out. The material is the classic Supima Oxford series. To be honest, it's more expensive than it used to be! But the uniformity of the surface is only possible because of the high quality of the yarn. The Matilda Check/Stripe in Beige is a newly created fabric. If you order it now from Supima, the retail price will increase. I searched for other cottons that could match the uniformity of Supima. It's a compact yarn. The fuzz on the surface of the yarn is spun to create as even a surface as possible. I don't choose the raw cotton brand, but rather its quality. The Poplin 2 fabric is 3 oz., which is quite thin. It's honestly too cold in January, so I wear it from spring until midsummer. Chambray is about 5 ounces, so it's about the same weight as oxford. However, it's more loosely woven than oxford, so it can just about be worn in summer.
