This is YASHIKI's classic crew neck cardigan. I imagined a scene where a cool breeze heralding the arrival of autumn blows through the fields and mountains that carry the remnants of summer.
The waffle pattern in the center of the body and sleeves represents the summer fields and mountains still retaining their greenness, while the diagonal patterns on the sides of the body convey a clear breeze heralding the arrival of autumn, symbolizing the changing seasons.
Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, the colors of the yarns are changed on the front and back sides, By knitting in two colors, we have created a texture with depth.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the kimono has become a staple at YASHIKI. The design is finished with an homage to the pattern.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
The buttons use natural black mother-of-pearl materials. Each button has a unique expression and an elegant iridescence shine in this beautiful piece.
