50年代のミリタリーパンツを彷彿させるディティールを現代のシルエットに再構築したShortPantsです。
使用しているNylon OXはとても軽さのある素材、ゆとりあるシルエットでキレイなドレープが入るのでどこかドレッシーな印象を感じるアイテムです。
シルエットはしっかりゆとりを持たせた太めのシルエットです。

ARMY TWILLは1940年代にアメリカで誕生。
ミリタリーウエアがファッションとして普及し始めた当時、その先駆けのストアブランドとしてスタートした。
その後時を経てブランドは終了し、現在ではヴィンテージマーケットでも
なかなか目にすることが出来ない希少なヴィンテージウェアとなっている。

2020年、MULBERRY Co.,Ltd.により、過去の普遍的なコンセプトに
現代的な解釈を加えたリプロダクトレーベルとして”ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED”をスタート。
アメリカやヨーロッパ諸国の様々なヴィンテージウエアのデザインやディティールをモチーフとし、
オリジナルで製作する生地や独自のシルエットで現代的に昇華。
ヘリテージとモダニティを融合し、未来のヴィンテージを目指した新たなコレクションを展開する。

These short pants reimagine details reminiscent of 1950s military pants into a modern silhouette.
The Nylon OX material used is very lightweight, and the relaxed silhouette creates beautiful draping, giving the item a somewhat dressy feel.

ARMY TWILL was founded in the United States in the 1940s.
It started as a pioneering store brand when military wear began to gain popularity as a fashion item.
Over time, the brand ceased to exist, and it is now only found in the vintage market.
This is a rare vintage garment that you don't often see.

In 2020, MULBERRY Co., Ltd. revisited a timeless concept from the past.
We launched "ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED" as a reproduction label that adds a modern interpretation to existing designs.
The designs and details are inspired by various vintage clothing from the United States and European countries.
Elevated to a modern level with original fabrics and unique silhouettes.
Blending heritage and modernity, this new collection aims to create the vintage of the future.
