WORKERS Lot 801 Straight Jeans Black

After years of requests, we finally created Lot 801, a straight-silhouette black jeans. WORKERS Familiar "Cotton Custom Order" is a variegated yarn made from American medium-length cotton, inspired by the yarn shape of vintage jeans. The warp (warp) is sulfide-dyed, and the weft (weft) is the color of the cotton itself. The number of threads is set to be about 13.75 ounces per ounce. When washed, the black yarn fades to gray. Unlike indigo, black is dyed all the way to the core, so it doesn't fade like a "crackling" color but rather falls off overall. However, the areas that rub off whiten, so the selvedge marks will appear. Sorry, but starting this season, the price of black will increase. The reason is that the fabric price is different from indigo. Indigo is dyed in large quantities using a method called 'rope dyeing,' which keeps the unit price somewhat low. In contrast, black uses 'cheese dyeing,' where the yarn is softly rewound and dyed in a kiln (kama). The unit price for dyeing is extremely high! When it comes to fabric, it costs 1.5 times more than indigo. Until now, indigo and black were forced to be made at the same price, but starting September 2022, both 801 and 802 will be changed to 20,000 yen + TAX for black. Black bottoms are the best match for coordination. You can pair them with indigo jackets or military-style high-end jackets. You can also pair them with jackets like tweed. When washed, the color becomes close to charcoal, making it even easier to match. The product is over-the-back.
