The body is made of extra-thick jersey. The knitting structure is the same as the T-shirt, but by inserting multiple thick yarns into the needles, it achieves a thickness similar to a low-gauge sweater. Additionally, the inside of the fabric is brushed to give it a sweater-like look. I wore it well myself this winter as well. It's really warm. It's as casual as a sweatshirt, but with the vibe of a sweater. Ribs and many needle pullers, with clearly visible bumps. The more you pull out the needle (the more bumpy it is), the better the stretch becomes, but the return is weaker. Check the balance and adjust the needle removal moderately. RAF Sweater, inspired by the high-neck style worn by RAF pilots in the movie Dunkergue. Worn as a T-shirt underneath, the brushed side of the sweater feels nice against the skin. In the dead of winter, pairing an inner layer under an RAF sweater keeps you warm. Even 100% wool doesn't get itchy, so if you're worried about an icebreaker, or if you're worried about it, I recommend wearing synthetic fabrics like Patagonia's Capilene or Montbergioline. Wear an inner layer + RAF sweater, and then a thick lined jacket over it—even in the dead of winter, you'll have no problem. A subtle change this year is that White is not the same color as is; instead, it is bleached (pure white) once and then dyed back to white. As for the process, just like other colored yarns, we "make it pure white once and then dye it white." The reason: previously, although the body, ribs, and thread thickness differed, the natural color was almost the same, but looking at this year's sample, it was completely different. Around the world, supply chains have gone awry, and even if you arrange yarns of the same standard, they don't get the same, so we put in extra effort to maintain quality. For products using these natural yarns, we make sure to remake the samples every time. As in this case, the quality of the yarn varies by year.
