Description

備長炭染めのリネン×コットン×ラミージャケットCalife JK(カリフジェーケー)。
リネン、コットン、ラミーの天然三者混平織り生地を、日本伝統の備長炭染めによって染色した唯一無二の風合い豊かな素材。
糸は柔らかなリネンと相反する丈夫なラミー、そして肌触りの良いコットンがブレンドされており、さらに染色工程の加工感をそのまま残し、全体に大小不揃いなシワ感が楽しめる、日本の生地らしい和の雰囲気とヴィンテージのような質感が共存した独特な表情が特徴です。
生地感はカリッとしたドライなタッチですが決して硬すぎず、通気性と吸湿性が高いという湿気の多い日本の春夏に最適な機能を有しています。
丸みのあるやや大きなレギュラーカラーにフロントは4つボタン、左胸と両腰にインパーテッドプリーツの入ったパッチポケットを備え、袖口はおか付けのカフスで処理された、フランスのワークウェアの雰囲気を持ちながら、どこか上品な空気を纏ったデザイン。
裏地の付かない一枚仕立ての軽い着心地も特徴で、生地の質感も相まってインナー次第では夏まで快適に着られるジャケットです。
また生地の上質かつナチュラルな雰囲気に合うよう、ボタンも天然椰子から削り出された本ナットボタンが使われるなど、細部に渡り拘りの詰まっています。
ハイエイドなカジュアルウェアを得意とする、山形の工場で縫製しています。
岡山をはじめ、カジュアルウェアが得意な工場は西日本に多くあり、反対にドレスウェアの工場は東日本の特に東北に集中していますが、こちらの工場はドレスの丁寧な縫製の流れを汲みつつ、それをカジュアルに落とし込むことのできる技術と設備、そして感性を併せ持った貴重な工場です。

A linen× cotton× and ramie jacket dyed with Binchotan charcoal, Calife JK.
A unique and richly textured material made from natural three-pronged woven fabrics of linen, cotton, and rummy, dyed using traditional Japanese bincho charcoal dyeing.
The yarn is a blend of soft linen, durable rummy, and soft cotton, preserving the texture of the dyeing process and allowing you to enjoy wrinkles of varying sizes throughout, creating a unique look that combines the typical Japanese atmosphere with a vintage-like texture.
The fabric has a crispy, dry touch but is never too hard, offering excellent breathability and moisture absorption, making it ideal for Japan's humid spring and summer.
The design features a rounded, slightly large regular collar, four buttons on the front, patch pockets with inparted pleats on the left chest and both hips, and cuffs with okatsuke cuffs, giving it the vibe of French workwear while exuding a touch of elegance.
It features a lightweight, unlined single layer and comfortable fit, and combined with the texture of the fabric, it can be worn comfortably through summer depending on the inner layer.
To match the fabric's high-quality and natural feel, the buttons are made with genuine nut carved from natural palm wood, showing meticulous attention to detail.
We sew at a factory in Yamagata, specializing in Hi-Aid casual wear.
Many factories specializing in casual wear are located in western Japan, including Okayama, while dresswear factories are concentrated in eastern Japan, especially in Tohoku. However, this factory is a valuable facility that combines the technology, equipment, and sensibility that can incorporate the careful sewing process of dresses into a casual style.
