Description

表面は綾目の綺麗なツイルながら、裏面はガーゼのように柔らかな肌触りを持たせた二重織りの生地を使用したTシャツです。
経糸と緯糸をそれぞれ2種類ずつ使用し、表と裏を別々の組織で織り上げ、そこに洗いをかけることにより優しく心地良い風合いに仕上がっています。
脇の生地を前後重ね合わせ、留めるだけ（元々、2枚の紙を重ねて糊でくっ付けるといったイメージでデザインしました）といった一見、簡単に思える方法で仕上げてあります。
「くっ付ける」といった子供で考えられそうなシンプルな作りを実際に形にするのは意外と難しく一般的ではない方法におもしろさを感じていただけたらと思います。

デザイナーは藤原裕和。「無駄」や「不格好さ」をあえて楽しむスタイルを提案する。

The T-shirt uses a double-weave fabric with a beautifully twilled twill on the outside, while the back has a soft gauze-like texture.
Using two types each of warp and weft threads, the front and back are woven into separate weaves, By washing it, it is finished with a gentle and pleasant texture.
At first glance, it looks like simply layering the fabric on the sides and fastening it (originally, the design was like stacking two sheets of paper and gluing them together), It's finished in a way that seems simple.
I hope you'll find it interesting to find this surprisingly difficult and uncommon method to actually shape something simple like 'attaching' that kids might imagine.

Roundabout is a Japanese fashion brand.
The designer is Hirokazu Fujiwara. He deliberately proposes a style that enjoys 'wastefulness' and 'awkwardness.'
