雪が薄く残る田んぼ、雪の間から顔を出す蕗の薹(ふきのとう)。
冬の名残と春の兆しを感じる風景をイメージしました。
ゆったりとしたシルエットのジップタイプのポロシャツです。
身頃中央と脇の細かな凹凸の大きさの違いで所々に雪の残る田んぼを表し、肩部分から裾に入った三角を組み合わせた模様で春の訪れを告げる蕗の薹を表しています。
プレーティング編みと言われる表目側と裏目側で異なる糸を編む技法を使用し、表と裏で糸の色を変えて、 2色で編むことで奥行きのある表情に仕上げました。
着用時に肩が落ちて柔らかな印象になる様にYASHIKIでは定番となった着物のパターンをオマージュして仕上げています。
袖口にはブランドアイコンの[矢絣]柄が入ります。

デザイナーの故郷である石川県の風景や文化がデザインに大きくかかわっている。
手取川や田園風景など、故郷の文化を感じさせる柄、そしてディテールをニットに落とし込み、そこから感じられる情景やローカル感を素朴で上品な物作りで表現している。

I imagined landscapes that evoke the remnants of winter and the signs of spring.
This is a zip-type polo shirt with a relaxed silhouette.
The difference in size between the center and sides of the body represents rice fields with snow left in places, and the pattern combining triangles from the shoulders to the hem represents butterbur stalks heralding the arrival of spring.
Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, the colors of the yarns are changed on the front and back sides, By knitting in two colors, we have created a texture with depth.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the design pays homage to classic kimono patterns at YASHIKI.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
