Description

痛いぐらいに強く吹く風が降り積もった雪を舞い上げる光景をイメージしました。
肩のワッフル柄と横筋の柄で雪が積もった田畑や道路を表し、ベースの縦筋柄で風を受けて舞い上がる降り積もった雪を表現しました。
プレーティング編みと言われる表目側と裏目側で異なる糸を編む技法を使用し、表と裏で糸の色を変えて、 2色で編むことで奥行きのある表情に仕上げました。
ニュージーランド産のファインウールと豪州メリノをブレンドしたなめらかで光沢のある防縮糸を使用しています。
着用時に肩が落ちて柔らかな印象になる様にYASHIKIでは定番となった着物のパターンをオマージュして仕上げています。
袖の付け根にはブランドアイコンの[矢絣]柄が入ります。
昨年の製品と比べると、AHと袖が細くなります。

デザイナーの故郷である石川県の風景や文化がデザインに大きくかかわっている。
手取川や田園風景など、故郷の文化を感じさせる柄、そしてディテールをニットに落とし込み、そこから感じられる情景やローカル感を素朴で上品な物作りで表現している。

道路を黒く濡らしていた雨はいつしか雪に変わり
ゆっくりと道路を白く染めてゆく
この雪は積もるだろうか？
今年初めての雪に心が躍った
鉛色の空からひらひらと舞う雪は
田畑や家を柔らかく包む
銀色に輝く雪は
時に青く
時に赤く
街を彩ってゆく
舞い落ちる雪には雨が混じりはじめ、道路脇の黒ずんだ雪を小さくしてゆく
そろそろ冬も終わりかな。
もう一回積もらないかなぁ。
YASHIKI 25AW COLLECTIONは「雪の色」をテーマに
雪に包まれた田畑や街並みが見せる様々な風景をニットに詰め込みました。

I imagined a scene where a painfully strong wind blows and piles of snow are swirling up.
The waffle pattern on the shoulders and horizontal stripes represent snow-covered fields and roads, while the vertical stripes on the base represent snow drifting up with the wind.
Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, the colors of the yarns are changed on the front and back sides, By knitting in two colors, we have created a texture with depth.
Made with smooth, glossy shrink yarn blended from New Zealand fine wool and Australian merino.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the design pays homage to classic kimono patterns at YASHIKI.
The sleeve base features the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
Compared to last year's product, the A-H and sleeves are slimmer.

The landscapes and culture of Ishikawa Prefecture, the designer's hometown, play a significant role in the design.
Patterns evoking the culture of hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into knits, expressing the scenes and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.
