NOROLL では定番的に使用している和紙素材。
こちらは和紙にポリエステル、ナイロンをブレンドしたシャリ感ある糸をオリジナルカラーの撚り杢で編みたてて作った定番ニットバケットハットです。
和紙素材を使用する理由としては優れた吸水速乾性を持ち、毛玉ができにくく、防シワ性と機能性の高さがあります。
そして何よりも日本古来からある紙で提灯、傘、書物、手紙等の様々な製品、そして伝統工芸品や彫刻等にも使われてきた素材というルーツにも魅力を感じ度々使わせていただいてます。
ニットバケットハットは何シーズンも微調整し自分的理想の型を追及しておりましたが、今回はそんな中でもかなり理想に近い深さとシルエットバランスに近づきました。
とはいえニットなので着用して手で伸ばしたりしても良し、自分の頭の型にフィットさせ馴染ませていくのがオススメです。

This is a traditional washi paper material used by NOROLL.
This classic knit bucket hat is made by knitting a crisp yarn made from a blend of Japanese paper, polyester, and nylon using original twisted heather.
The reason for using washi material is its excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, its resistance to pilling, wrinkle resistance, and high functionality.
Above all, I am drawn to the roots of the traditional Japanese paper used in various products such as lanterns, umbrellas, books, letters, as well as traditional crafts and sculptures, and I use it frequently.
I have been fine-tuning the knit bucket hat for many seasons to pursue my ideal style, This time, even so, we have come close to the ideal depth and silhouette balance.
That said, since it's a knit, you can stretch it out by hand, and it's recommended to fit it to fit your head and let it blend in.

What is NOROLL?
Started in 2012 with hats as the main focus, now also offering apparel.
Most of the production is done in Japan, exploring original domestic fabrics and unique details.
From 2025, activities will be held under the new theme HERE WE REST.
