Description

縦にナイロン分織糸を、横にコットンの糸を使用することで程よい反発感と天然素材特有のナチュラルな風合いを持ち、細かな凹凸のある表情が特徴のドビーを使用したベストです。
裾を折り返すのみで形成する「輪」の仕様を採用しており、それによりどこかエアリーでふっくらとした印象のアイテムになったと思います。
また、総裏地に近い仕様となっていることから、ポケットの袋を隠すことができるため、それを活かして美しくシームポケットを作ることができました。
パッチポケットも裾と同様に底を折り返す「輪」にすることで自然とマチを作ることができ、この仕様が機能の向上にも一役買ってくれています。
今回の作りに適した薄く・軽い素材と仕様を活かした5つのポケットによる機能的になったと考えています。

This vest uses nylon split yarn vertically and cotton yarn horizontally, giving it a moderate rebound and the natural texture unique to natural materials, characterized by its fine, uneven texture.
It features a 'loop' design formed simply by folding the hem, giving the item a somewhat airy and fluffy impression.
Also, since the design is close to full lining, you can hide the pockets, making the most of this to create beautiful seam pockets.
The patch pocket is also made into a loop that folds back at the bottom, just like the hem, allowing for a natural gusset, which also contributes to enhancing functionality.
We believe the thin and lightweight material suited for this build and the functional features of five pockets make the most of the features.

Roundabout is a Japanese fashion brand.
The designer is Hirokazu Fujiwara. He deliberately proposes a style that enjoys 'wastefulness' and 'awkwardness.'
