Description

Sillage and KARDO come together for a collaborative collection celebrating Indian craftsmanship and textile traditions.
For this collaboration, Sillage commissioned a selection of textiles produced in India using traditional techniques, including hand embroidery, block printing and hand-painted details.
The fabrics were then brought to Japan, where all cutting and sewing were carried out locally, combining Indian craftsmanship with Sillage’s signature silhouettes. Each piece is individually crafted, with subtle variations that reflect the handmade nature of the collection.
The silhouette is a reimagined open-collar shirt, a signature Sillage style for the summer season. Cut wide with a beautiful drape and flowing silhouette, this new interpretation features a ribbed hem, giving the shirt a distinctive shape reminiscent of the 1980s.

インド・ニューデリーで2013年に設立されたメンズウェアブランド KARDOとのコラボレーション。
量産されたファストファッションのアンチテーゼであるKARDO(カルド)は、メンズウェアの細部にまで注意を払った服作りをしています。
手作業によるディティールのものつくりはインドの伝統的な製織、染色、印刷技術を取り入れています。
今回Sillage は生地をKARDOに発注して縫製を全て日本でしました。
こちらは天然の染色で手染めしてから手刺繍で一点一点仕上げた作品です。
スタイルは夏のSillage の定番とも言える再構築したオープンカラーシャツ。
ワイドでドレープ感がしっかり出て美しいシルエット　パンツインしてバランスを取っていただく提案です。新提案として裾をリブにして80sを思わせるシルエットにしております。

Sillage（シアージ）は、2018年にニコラ・ユタナン・シャルモ(Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau)が立ち上げた日本のファッションブランドです。
SNSで話題を集めるユタナンの感性を表現する場として立ち上げ。オーバーサイジングだが、なぜかユタナンのコーディネートはとても現代的かつファッション的、独自のスタイリングです。
Sillageは、フランス語で「匂いが過去の記憶を呼び起こす感覚を表すこと」を意味します。
香りがかつての記憶を呼び覚ますように、人々の心に強く印象を残します。
それはこのブランドのユニークなデザインや特徴的なビッグシルエットによって、着用する人はブランドの世界観を強く実感し、記憶に深く刻まれる存在となります。
シャツをはじめとするファッションやアートの分野だけでなく、レストランなどユニークな相手とコラボレートしたアイテムも展開してます。
