セーターに見える、でも実はコットンのカットソーシリーズ。セーターのようだけど気兼ねなく毎日でも洗えるのが良いところ。身頃は極厚の天竺。生地の編み方はT シャツ生地と同じですが、極太糸を何本も編み針に突っ込んで編むことで、まるでローゲージセーターのような厚み。今年は裏起毛無し。特にSaddle Shoulder が中にシャツを着ることを考え。起毛なしの方が裏面がひっかりなく着やすい。でも起毛有は温かみもある。この辺りはトレードオフなので、毎年、仕様を微妙に変えてみています。 RAF Sweater は、Royal Air Force のロールネックセーターがモチーフ。こちらはT シャツの上、もしくはインナーロンT の上に着ることを考えMサイズ身幅56程。 G ジャンやジャケットの中にすっきり着られるサイズ感を目指しています。首・袖口共に折りかえりがあり、リブは「総針」というウネが無いもの。サドルショルダーの針抜きと比較してみてください。サンプルを洗って天日干しすると、丈の縮みが1-2センチ。幅は殆ど変化なし。そのため、納品する製品は洗い無し。ノンウォッシュ。下記寸法表は洗って天日干ししたものを計測しています。

This is a trade-off, so I try to slightly adjust the specifications every year. The RAF Sweater is inspired by the Royal Air Force roll-neck sweater. This is designed to be worn over a T-shirt or an inner long T-shirt, with an M size about 56 cm in width. The aim is to have a sizing that fits neatly under a G-jacket or jacket. Both the neck and cuffs have folds, and the ribs are 'total needles' without a waviness. Please compare this with the saddle shoulder staple puller. When the sample is washed and sun-dried, the length shrinks by 1-2 centimeters. The width hardly changes. Therefore, the products delivered are unwashed. No washing.
