Description

WORKERS, 2025 Tote Bag Third Tier. Deluxe tote. Size: Width 34 / Depth 16 / Height 31. The so-called M size. The handle is short, hand-only only. I considered a long handle, but since the handle width is narrow, it feels tight no matter how long it is. So, I only used the short handle I have on hand. I considered adding an outer pocket, but the handle width is still narrow. Forcing it here would be a bit inconvenient as a pocket, so I ended up skipping it. The handle is color-matched to the body. The same fabric as the bottom is sewn onto the tape. This is also a two-needle sewing machine, folding the fabric on both sides while resting in the middle of the tape. Equipment is a lifesaver! So, this time I went to a factory in northern Kanto. Of course, it's made in Japan. After all, no matter how many samples you see, you have to explain these parts yourself. Fold and sew the edges of the fabric so that the sides are staggered. This becomes the bone of the bag itself, and even with nothing inside, it stands upright. The body is made of No. 6 canvas. Measured in ounces: 18.9 ounces. The bottom and the part that rests on the tape are made of No. 11 canvas. Equivalent to 12 ounces in ounces. Is the body slightly lighter than the original?? However, since Japan's JIS standard canvas and the original canvas (duck) have different standards, if you want to make exactly the same, you probably have to start with yarn. When we previously developed a certain D-River-style oxford with a fabric shop, it was a yarn of a yarn that hardly ever comes out in Japan. Probably, America uses Tex, and Japan uses count. Because the standards differ, the standard yarn in Japan does not exist in American TEX. Also, the standard TEX in America is not the Japanese count, among other reasons. In the end, the D-River style was made from yarns with unusual counts called "edge counts" due to the scale advantage of fabric shops. This tote bag is not exactly the same as the original, but rather something that approaches Japanese standards and, in some cases, even exceeds the original. I think the stitching quality completely surpasses the original. As expected from a Japanese sewing factory. The fabric grain is beautiful. The tape is supple and easy to hold. However, the original is the original, with rough and tough fabrics and parts. The sewing is rough and "as long as it doesn't break." That alone adds charm. The finish varies by country. Please take a look at those differences.
