Description

定番のModified Fit シャツ。BD はビンテージのBrks を参考に。
台襟にネクタイは綺麗に収まる。でも高すぎず。低すぎず。羽襟は長すぎず、短すぎず。「ザ・中庸」
ハンガーループ無し、肩ヨークステッチ無し。シルエット、身頃にフィット感はあるがピタピタでは無い。
肩幅も落ちすぎず、入りすぎず。着丈は裾を出しても・入れても着られる75 センチ程がマスターサイズ。袖ぐりのカマ（縦方向の寸法）自体はある程度余裕があり、窮屈さは無い。
といったように、機能性から寸法を割り出し型紙作成。デザイン的なシャツでは無く、設計的なシャツ。
素材は定番のスーピマオックスシリーズ。

秋冬シーズンなので、起毛で暖か「そう」に見えるコーデユロイ。 5 オンス程でオックスとほぼ同じ厚みなので、合わせる上着を選びません。
以前から「コーデュロイのボタンダウンを！」とFreeportさんやそのお客様から言われてましたが、なんとなく自分が着ないので作りませんでした。
作るならどんな色が良いかな？と考え、会社に置いてある古着を見ていると・・・LL Beanのコーデュロイシャツが出てきました。
それがまさにこのブラウン。ということで、ブラウンを選んでみました。出来上がってみると、冬らしい風合いで良いのでは？と思います。

A classic Modified Fit shirt. The BD is inspired by vintage Brks.
The tie fits neatly on the collar. But not too high. Not too low. The feather collar is neither too long nor too short. "The Doctrine of the Mean"
No hanger loops, no shoulder yoke stitching. The silhouette and body fit well, but not snug.
The shoulder width is neither too much or too tight. The master size is about 75 cm, which can be worn either with the hem exposed or tucked in. The sleeve collar itself has some room and no tightness.
In this way, measurements are determined based on functionality and the pattern is created. It's not a design shirt, but a design shirt.
The material is the classic Supima Ox series.

Since it's autumn and winter, the brushed and warm outfit looks like a 'yes' look. It's about 5 ounces and almost the same thickness as oxford, so it pairs well with any jacket.
Freeport and that customer have been asking for corduroy button-downs for a while, but I just don't feel like wearing them myself, so I didn't make one.
What color would be good to make? While looking at the used clothes at the company... LL Bean corduroy shirts came up.
That is exactly this brown. So, I decided to choose brown. When it was finished, I thought it would have a nice winter texture. That's what I think.
