Description

冬の終わりに積もった雪がどんどんと小さくなっていく様子をイメージしました。
モコモコとした編み地で雪を表し、全体のまだら模様で雪がとけ所々地表が出できて様を表現しました。
ペルーのファインアルパカと南米ウールを使用しループ状にした弾力性と軽さのあるブークレー糸を使用。
2色の糸を使用しまだら模様に仕上げています。
着用時に肩が落ちて柔らかな印象になる様にYASHIKIでは定番となった着物のパターンをオマージュして仕上げています。
袖の付け根にはブランドアイコンの[矢絣]柄が入ります。
昨年の製品と比べると、AHと袖が細くなります。

デザイナーの故郷である石川県の風景や文化がデザインに大きくかかわっている。
手取川や田園風景など、故郷の文化を感じさせる柄、そしてディテールをニットに落とし込み、そこから感じられる情景やローカル感を素朴で上品な物作りで表現している。

道路を黒く濡らしていた雨はいつしか雪に変わり
ゆっくりと道路を白く染めてゆく
この雪は積もるだろうか？
今年初めての雪に心が躍った
鉛色の空からひらひらと舞う雪は
田畑や家を柔らかく包む
銀色に輝く雪は
時に青く
時に赤く
街を彩ってゆく
舞い落ちる雪には雨が混じりはじめ、道路脇の黒ずんだ雪を小さくしてゆく
そろそろ冬も終わりかな。
もう一回積もらないかなぁ。
YASHIKI 25AW COLLECTIONは「雪の色」をテーマに
雪に包まれた田畑や街並みが見せる様々な風景をニットに詰め込みました。

I imagined the snow piling up at the end of winter gradually getting smaller.
The fluffy knit represents snow, and the overall mottled pattern expresses the appearance of the ground surface where the snow melts.
Made with fine Peruvian alpaca and South American wool, it uses bouclée yarn with elasticity and lightness, forming loops in a loop.
Finished with a mottled pattern using two colors of yarn.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the design pays homage to classic kimono patterns at YASHIKI.
The sleeve base features the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
Compared to last year's product, the A-H and sleeves are slimmer.

Patterns evoking the culture of hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into knits, expressing the scenes and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.
