特大のヒップポケットがその名の所以ですが、この特徴ある仕様は安全上の理由から後に即廃止に、厳密には1944-1945年までの僅か1年間のみ実納入、生産されていた非常に稀少な僅少モデル。
特徴的な大きな後ろポケットには、食料や手榴弾を入れていた、野戦用で使用していたパンツです。
ヴィンテージウオッシュ加工を施し古着感覚で味わい深く、軍もの好きな方にお勧めの一着です。

California Sportswear's USMC HB P-44 MONKEY PT "Monkey Pants" are a faithful reproduction of the original, made with cotton herringbone fabric.
Its name comes from its oversized hip pockets, but this distinctive feature was quickly discontinued for safety reasons. Strictly speaking, it was only actually delivered and produced for a mere one year, from 1944 to 1945, making it an extremely rare and limited model.
