Description

裾にパッチポケットを配した定番のガーデナーシャツ。
経糸は強撚オーガニックコットンを使用し、緯糸を綿麻強撚糸に変更しています。
強撚糸特有のバルキーなタッチで薄手ながら張りがあり、生地の段階でワッシャー加工を施していますので、適度なしわ感があります。
古着で見つけた1900年代初頭の農夫が着ていたであろうリネンシャツを参考にした小ぶりな衿型、脇に流し込まれたパッチポケットなどアウター代わりとしても使えるシャツです。
後ろ身頃はインボックスプリーツにする事で腕の可動域を広げるとともに、デザイン的にも抜け感のある表情に仕上げました。

A classic gardener shirt with patch pockets at the hem.
The warp threads are made of highly twisted organic cotton, while the weft threads have been changed to a highly twisted cotton-linen yarn.
The fabric has a bulky feel characteristic of highly twisted yarn, giving it firmness despite its thinness, and a moderate wrinkled texture due to the washer finish applied during the fabric-making process.
This shirt, inspired by a linen shirt likely worn by a farmer in the early 1900s found in a vintage clothing store, features a small collar and patch pockets tucked into the sides, making it suitable as an outer layer as well.
The back features an in-box pleat, which not only increases the range of motion of the arms but also gives the design a relaxed and effortless look.
