ABOUT THE DESIGN:
サンドウォーターとの協業で制作したダブルライダースジャケット。
ハードになりすぎないよう、丸みのあるシルエットに仕上げ、柔らかな印象をプラスしました。
double rider's jacket designed in collaboration with Sandwater. The rounded silhouette ensures it doesn't feel overly rugged, adding a softer and more refined touch.

COW SKIN ABOUT LEATHER:
タンニン鞣しとクロム鞣しを組み合わせた牛革を使用し、独特の風合いを作り出しています。
高い耐久性を誇り、エイジング（経年変化）による風合いの変化も楽しめます。
さらに、製品洗いを施しUSED加工を加え、革に柔らかさを出すためにドラミング加工を行っています。
We use a combination of vegetable tanning and chrome tanning on cowhide leather to create a unique texture. Known for its high durability, the leather also offers the enjoyment of aging and the natural changes it undergoes over time. Additionally, the product is washed and given a used look, with drumming processing applied to enhance the leather's softness.


CCU(シーシーユー)というブランド名は ”チャグチャグ馬コ” というお祭りに由来する。
チャグチャグ馬コは、岩手の南部曲がり家に代表される「愛馬精神」から生まれ、まだ馬が農作業に使われていた頃、 農繁期の中で唯一の休息日として設けられた行事が発祥となる。
CCUはその愛馬精神に敬意を込め、使う度に愛着が湧き、普遍的なプロダクトを目指。
「LEATHER-COMFORTALE-PRODUCT」をコンセプトに、従来のレザーの硬さや着にくさなどのイメージを払拭するような柔らかなレザーの素材選びや人体とレザーの間の余白を⼤事にしたパターンメイキングを行う。
アイテムではシャツを中心に展開し、日常に馴染むようなレザーアイテムがラインナップ。

The brand name CCU originates from the festival called 'Chagu Chagu Umako,' a traditional event in Iwate where horses adorned in elaborate harnesses proceed ceremoniously. Chagu Chagu Umako began about 200 years ago as a celebration to honor horses, allowing farmers to give their horses a day off after the rigors of rice-planting and to pray for their health at the shrine. CCU aims to create versatile products that honor this spirit of equine love, designed to deepen the bond with horses with every use. Under the concept of 'LEATHER-COMFORTABLE-PRODUCT,' the company selects soft leather materials that defy the conventional perception of leather as stiff and uncomfortable. Our approach includes meticulous patternmaking that considers the space between the human body and the leather. We offer a lineup of leather items designed to seamlessly integrate into your daily life.
