Description

Riprapのセミロングブリムキャップ(21w コーデュロイ)。
クラシックな6パネルBBキャップのデザインにバイザーの長さ、クラウンの高さとボリュームを120%拡大して制作したセミロングビルスタイル。
今シーズンは初のツバ刺繍ver.での展開です。
刺繍された言葉はカリフォルニア州シェラネバダの詩人Gary Snyderの詩集タイトルより(つまりこれは詩集刺繍となります)。

BONDI BLUE/ Turtle Island
BLACK/ NO NATURE
と、それぞれカラー毎にワードをセット。
生地は薄手の21Wコットンコーデュロイ。刺繍糸には蓄光糸を使用し、暗闇で光るギミック(Glow in the Dark)を追加しました。
バックストラップにはカウレザーを使用。フロント2パネル裏にはスーツで使う毛芯をかませ型崩れを防止しています。
シンプルなデザインながらボリュームのある作りにしているので、まるで子供が大人用の帽子を被っているような。そんなバランスに映ります。

1984年、石川県生まれ。
スタイリスト本間良二氏に師事。

Riprap's semi-long brim cap (21w corduroy).
A semi-long building style created by enlarging the classic 6-panel BB cap design with a visor length, crown height, and volume increased by 120%.
This season is the first to feature the brim embroidery version.
The embroidered words are taken from the poetry collection titles of Gary Snyder, a poet from Sierra Nevada, California (in other words, this is poetry book embroidery).

Each color is set with its own word.
The fabric is a thin 21W cotton corduroy. The embroidery thread uses luminous yarn, and we added the gimmick that glows in the dark.
The back strap uses cow leather. The back of the front two panels is lined with a bristle core used in suits to prevent its shape from deforming.
Despite its simple design, it has a substantial build, making it look like a child wearing an adult hat. It strikes a balanced look.

Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1984.
Studied under stylist Ryoji Honma.
In 2015, he launched Riprap.
