Description

The classic Baker Pants are now available this season in Slen-dyed style.
It fades less than sulfurized sulfide, and the processing contrasts more sharply.
Over ten years ago, WORKERS Baker took the dimensions of an unwashed MIL-T-838D product to create the prototype. However, after years of repeated revisions, the atmosphere has become somewhat different from the original.
Here, we returned to basics and recreated the original silhouette.
Specifically, traced from dismantled dead stock, MIL-T-838D. Wide hem, wide thighs, and a deeper upper layer. The silhouette of so-called "military pants."
For the unusually thin loops often seen in vintage military brands, we prepared a dedicated loop sewing machine and supplied it to the factory. Initially, we made and supplied the loop stitching on the waist back by making a sewing machine, but later the factory bought the machine... but that factory stopped making it... There were some twists and turns, but the factory sewing now is skilled at the waist back because they're used to it. They have a very unique sewing style, though.
The back satin was made by looking at the specs of the MIL-T-838D and the MIL-C-10296J fabric, so to be known as
"Coarse back satin used for bakers." Soft to the touch. The dye is sulfurized and changes color rapidly.
The product has been washed.
Button Fly: MIL-838-D has 5 buttons, Slim Fit has 4 buttons. Also, since the top depth is different, the number of buttons is adjusted accordingly.
A cannuki button securing the open Biyi fabric to the front flap. A feature seen in classic trousers. For some reason, this has been used for many years in military trousers as well. Indeed, the crackling of the Biyi would probably catch something and be a bad thing.
By the way, Levi's doesn't have a backpiece; long ago, they used to fasten the hiyoku by cutting through the body. But later, even the stopping stopped being done. This is where I feel the difference between jeans and trousers is the evolutionary difference.
A hidden stitch that is not visible on the front is located just below the top buttonhole. This stitch cuts the fabric inside the top buttonhole in an invisible part so that fingers don't get inside. The original basically
- Made from four pieces of fabric: body, flap, front side of the flakes, and back of the flakes, with the top and front edges folded in, making it very thick.
I adjust the thickness by attaching a foot to the top button, but even so, the fabric is just too stiff and not very comfortable to use.
So, I dropped the inner lining or the flap edge, and since my fingers would touch the edge of the fabric as is, I inserted the stitching at the end as a hidden finish.
I'm proud because this design was created by sewing parts myself without looking at vintage clothes.
Everyone, please imitate me.
I'd be happy if someone sees this design after they die and think, 'With this, the hall doesn't get stiff—what a thoughtful idea.'
