Shimobashira Knit（霜柱）
冷え込んだ朝、畑の土を持ち上げる霜柱をイメージしました。
ベースのプレーンな天竺編みでと首と袖のラインで冷え込んだ朝の空気を表し、肩の細かな斜線で土を持ち上げる霜柱を表しています。
しなやかでなめらかなスーピマ超長綿をガス焼きで毛羽を焼いて除いた美しい光沢のある糸を使用。
80番手の細い糸を8本で12ゲージに仕上げた薄手ながらもしっかりとした編み地になります。
プレーティング編みと言われる表目側と裏目側で異なる糸を編む技法を使用し、表と裏で糸の色を変えて、 2色で編むことで奥行きのある表情に仕上げました。
着用時に肩が落ちて柔らかな印象になる様にYASHIKIでは定番となった着物のパターンをオマージュして仕上げています。
袖口にはブランドアイコンの[矢絣]柄が入ります。
昨年の製品と比べると、AHと袖が細くなります。

古くから繊維産業が盛んな北関東の両毛地区で生産される日本製のニットを提供している。
デザイナーの故郷である石川県の風景や文化がデザインに大きくかかわっている。
手取川や田園風景など、故郷の文化を感じさせる柄、そしてディテールをニットに落とし込み、そこから感じられる情景やローカル感を素朴で上品な物作りで表現している。

道路を黒く濡らしていた雨はいつしか雪に変わり
ゆっくりと道路を白く染めてゆく
この雪は積もるだろうか？
今年初めての雪に心が躍った
鉛色の空からひらひらと舞う雪は
田畑や家を柔らかく包む
銀色に輝く雪は
時に青く
時に赤く
街を彩ってゆく
舞い落ちる雪には雨が混じりはじめ、道路脇の黒ずんだ雪を小さくしてゆく
そろそろ冬も終わりかな。
もう一回積もらないかなぁ。

雪に包まれた田畑や街並みが見せる様々な風景をニットに詰め込みました。

Shimobashira Knit (Frost Pillar)
On a chilly morning, I imagined a frost pillar lifting soil from a field.
The base is plain jersey knitting, with lines at the neck and sleeves representing the chilly morning air, while the fine shoulder lines represent frost pillars lifting the earth.
Made with beautifully glossy yarn made by gas-baking supima extra-long cotton with supple and smooth fibers to remove fuzz.
Eight thin yarns from count 80 are used to create a 12-gauge fabric, resulting in a thin yet solid fabric.
Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, the colors of the yarns are changed on the front and back sides, By knitting in two colors, we have created a texture with depth.
To create a soft impression when worn, the shoulders drop and the design pays homage to classic kimono patterns at YASHIKI.
The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [arrow kasuri] pattern.
Compared to last year's product, the A-H and sleeves are slimmer.

YASHIKI is a Japanese knitwear brand.
Started in 2014.
It offers Japanese-made knits produced in the Ryomo area of northern Kanto, a region long known for its thriving textile industry.
The landscapes and culture of Ishikawa Prefecture, the designer's hometown, play a significant role in the design.
Patterns evoking the culture of hometown, such as the Tedori River and rural landscapes, are incorporated into knits, expressing the scenes and local feel through simple yet elegant craftsmanship.

My heart danced at the first snowfall of the year.
Snow fluttering from the lead-colored sky
Softly wrapping fields and homes
The snow shining silver

sometimes reddened
Coloring the city
The falling snow begins to mix with the rain, making the dark snow by the roadside shrink
Winter is almost over.
I wish it would pile up again.
