KANEMASA PHIL. is an original brand of a circular knitting manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, which originated from Kanemasa Knitwear Co., Ltd., founded in 1964 .

To preserve for the future the unique knitting machines specializing in high gauge knitting, the jacquard machines that can freely express a variety of patterns, and the distinctive skills and craftsmanship required to operate these machines independently, our own brand KANEMASA was born in the Spring/Summer 2021 season. *From the Autumn/Winter 23 season, coinciding with the launch overseas, the brand name will be changed to " KANEMSA PHIL ."

The brand's iconic logo was designed by Clement Johant , and the resulting design blends the historical context of the 1960s , when the company was founded, with European culture.

Based on the concept of " FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE, " we create clothing for the future as we envision it today.

We think about the future and offer a wardrobe that makes the wearer feel comfortable, happy, and joyful.

KANEMASA PHIL. products, which reflect the innovation, creativity, craftsmanship, and tradition we have cultivated and built up over the years, are made without compromise, from materials to design.

Kanemasa ' s private label KANEMASA . was born in the 2021 SS season in order to preserve the unique skills and craftsmanship to manipulate the company ' s own high gauge knitting machines or Jacquard machines capable of creating freely expressed various patterns.
