<SHOES LIKE POTTERY> sneakers are produced by MoonStar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1873.
The vulcanization process, which can only be carried out in a very limited number of factories in Japan, involves baking the product in a kiln as the final step.
This method was named because it resembles the process of making pottery.
The "PARAVUL COAT," which uses a special coating material, enhances the durability of the fabric and also improves the adhesion between the upper and the sole, resulting in a tougher design.
Care Instructions: When washing, remove the shoelaces. Add powder detergent (neutral detergent) to lukewarm water and soak for about 30 minutes. For black stains on the upper fabric, rub soap onto the stains and scrub with a brush until lathered. Be careful not to damage the fabric. Dirt on the rubber part of the sole can be effectively removed by scrubbing with a melamine sponge. Next, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all the soap is gone, then stuff towels inside the sneakers to prevent them from losing their shape, and spin-dry in a washing machine for 10-30 seconds. After that, it is recommended to air dry them in a well-ventilated place as soon as possible, either in the sun or in the shade.
