TAILORED IN SHIOTA The elegance of slacks combined with the texture of denim. This item is made from 12.5 oz. textured indigo denim, bringing out the rich look and deep texture that is unique to indigo denim. The more you wear it, the more it becomes comfortable, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time. The standard silhouette creates a casual yet balanced look. It is designed to suit a wide range of styles and can be used for a long time. TAILORED IN SHIOTA is a collaboration series with Shiota Co., Ltd., Okayama Prefecture, founded in 1966. Shiota's strength is that it can handle all processes in clothing production. The company is highly original in its sewing specifications, textile development, raw material selection, fabric design, and even weaving, and its jeans sewing techniques in particular have earned it high praise not only from domestic brands but also from overseas brands. Last fall/winter season, we sent in patterns from J.PRESS and produced slacks using denim material. Since our founding, we have used the know-how and technical skills cultivated over three generations to create denim slacks with a new look. Founded in New Haven, USA in 1902, J.PRESS has its roots in tradition and craftsmanship, backed by its history. Founder Jacoby Press's craftsmanship was highly praised for its focus on creating comfortable clothing for the wearer, and for establishing silhouettes that fit the human body and can be worn by anyone. That passion for clothing continues to this day, more than 100 years after the company was founded. J.PRESS's manufacturing approach, based on its spirit, focuses on creating timeless value, rather than simply following the trends of the time, even as times change.
