Description

These five-pocket pants are designed with inspiration from jeans that coal miners might have worn in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
Our original 13.5oz denim is carefully woven on a shuttle loom, using long-staple Zimbabwean cotton for the warp threads and natural brown cotton (before genetic modification) for the weft threads.
Instead of singeing the surface, a special sanforizing process is applied to create a slight twist during the garment washing process.
It features a deep indigo color and a subtle vertical fading effect.
These jeans feature a slightly higher rise and a wide, straight silhouette with a comfortable amount of room from the thighs to the hem.
Unlike typical jeans, these jeans do not feature a yoke at the back. Instead, darts are added in two places, vertically and horizontally, to create a relaxed, three-dimensional fit around the hips.
While retaining the original look of the era with features such as original iron tack buttons, punched rivets, double-needle buckles, and narrow stitching, the design is also original. (Tax included)
