Description

Modern functional beauty stripped away from waste.
A piece that has refined the essence of the product.
A one-of-a-kind metal frame that shines with quiet individuality and craftsmanship.
Bringing together the craftsmanship of Sabae, Japan's world-renowned eyewear mecca, NOCHINO OPTICAL presents the ultimate minimal metal frame.
We completely eliminated decorations such as engraving and arabesque patterns, pursuing a timeless and genderless functional beauty.
All frames are made of titanium, which boasts lightweight yet highly durable materials.
In particular, the front rim deliberately uses a 0.9mm thick titanium rim, rather than the typical 1.0mm thickness used for Sabae glasses.
This achieves both a clean and clean impression when viewed from the front and durability.
The temples use β titanium, which combines flexibility and elasticity. By bending flexibly, they naturally fit the wearer's face and provide a stress-free fit even during long periods of wear.
Additionally, the spoon-shaped tip of the temple combines aesthetic design with stability and comfort around the ears.
The hinges, which are key to the frame, use the 'Warichi structure,' a traditional method of precisely cutting from a single piece of metal, preserving the durability and beauty unique to handmade craftsmanship by skilled artisans.
Additionally, it features a cling spat (adjustable nose arm) and titanium nose pads.
The nose pad is made of allergy-free material, and because it comes into direct contact with the skin, it is a detail that emphasizes comfort and safety.
The frame shape is neither Wellington, Boston, nor Square, but a unique silhouette developed by NOCHINO OPTICAL.
The inspiration comes from eyewear discovered in a vintage French market. From there, it was elevated into a universal shape that suits both Asian facial features and Western bone structures.
The lens size is perfectly balanced, making it ideal even for those with severe myopia.
And the two-curve lens, which is synonymous with NOCHINO OPTICAL, is characterized by its beautiful curves and sheen, not just flat or typical curves. It expresses depth and luxury reminiscent of hand-sharpened glass lenses from the past.

As these are handmade by Sabae artisans, individual differences may occur. Please understand that there may be occasional warpings due to handmade craftsmanship when you receive them.
If there is any distortion, please take it to a nearby eyeglass store or consult with Minami Aoyama Main Store.
Depending on usage frequency and environment, photochromic lenses generally have a lifespan of about three years.
Please understand that performance may deteriorate due to frequent use under UV conditions, high-temperature environments, or storage. (Warm saunas, baths, car interiors, etc.)
Basically, NOCHINO lenses are ordered in batches exclusively for their own products each season, but due to seasonal batch variations, there may be slight differences in dimming performance.

Not a full moon, but just one before the full moon
The Japanese heart values the moon just before it is full.
The beauty of deficiency, the beauty of incompleteness, the beauty of empty space.
The 13th month, the following month
It is precisely through lack that things that cannot be expressed by things like perfection or satisfaction arise.
By making what is lacking beautiful,
It conveys a sense of satisfaction and beauty within the people.
Like the 13th month, the later moon, the glasses are incomplete when they leave the hands of the craftsman.
We offer products for the 13th month.
During the Heian period, when The Tale of Genji was born, people were sensitive to the seasons and wore colors that "suited the season,"
Incorporating it into daily life was a noble pastime.
Enjoy the pleasure of wearing colors that match the modern season,
Each person is completed when they match with a different owner
