This vintage-style jacket is a faithful reproduction based on the so-called 1st type with one pocket, which was produced from 1936 to 1953.
The fabric used is unbleached denim carefully woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom. You can enjoy its unique aging process as you wear it.
Vintage American-made Union Special sewing machines are used for the sewing, faithfully reproducing the original specifications down to the smallest detail.
The silhouette is based on the original from the 1930s and 40s, and the atmosphere of that era has been revived in the modern age without excessive modifications.

Only sizes L(3), LL(4), and 3L(5) feature a "thong" design.
When producing larger sizes, the denim fabric that could be woven on the looms at the time was not wide enough, so they had no choice but to join two pieces of fabric together in the middle.
Characterized by vertical stitching on the back, it's nicknamed "T-back" due to its appearance and remains incredibly popular to this day.

With modern looms and manufacturing methods, this product can be produced without joining the fabric, but Orslow's strong commitment led to its revival.
