This series draws inspiration from vintage denim, such as that featured in John Steinbeck's masterpiece "The Grapes of Wrath," and adds Porter Classic's unique interpretation.
These jeans have a vintage feel, and the warp threads, which are made of long slub yarn with varying thickness, are randomly used, giving them a rough and deep look characteristic of vintage denim. The natural unevenness created by the short pitch is also appealing.

STEINBECK DENIM
This is a 12oz denim fabric made with long slub warp threads, which have become difficult to produce recently.
These slub yarns, born in an era when spinning technology was still immature, possess a certain rustic charm. We have carefully reproduced that look in our PC original design.
The slightly loosely woven fabric becomes softer as you wear it, as the stiffness of the threads loosens, and the uneven vertical fading slowly emerges. This fabric allows you to fully enjoy the unique aging process of denim.
