Description

The new model is based on Brooks' 6 Button BD and is called "6 Button BD" (although I think it's actually called "Buttons"). When I traced the original pattern, the shoulder width was strangely narrow, but the body width was wide. It didn't balance well. It's based on the Modified BD that WORKERS has been making for the past 10 years. However, it incorporates some of the original elements. Specifically, The length is just under 80cm, and the sides are cut off sharply. The first front button is slightly low. The cuffs and buttons are positioned higher than the sleeves. The sleeve opening shape. Large pockets. The cuffs are wide, but then gathered to make them smaller and then attach the cuffs. The shoulder yoke is stitched only at the front. The placket and armholes are chain stitched. The bottom of the front edge is folded deeply to create a curve. The collar is The tan hole is stitched on the collar. The stitches are very fine overall. And the white thread is cotton again this time. It's very detailed. If you've done this much, you'll need to make the parts too! So it's only natural to make the nameplate. The hardest part was the buttons. The original was 9.5 mm and 8 Millimeters. In Japan, there are no standardized products. "Well, it's a resin button, so even if we could make a large quantity, it wouldn't be that expensive." When I placed the order, I got a scary quote: "It's a small custom order, so the unit price is 4.5 times higher." Well, it's a memory, so I'll do it. The result... as expected I realized that the size of the button is important. The atmosphere is completely different. The color is not the yellowish resin used in the Modified BD, but It's a little whitish. If it yellows, it will look more vintage...maybe? The fabric is Supima Oxford in three colors. Actually, the blue is currently being made to order, Blue Pale (a light blue) and Blue Myconos. Two colors. The color difference is a little bit, but there is a reason why we made the special order. A few years ago, I went to the German tannery, Perlinger, and saw leather with a slightly different color there. How many shades of blue are there?! The client, of course, is H of the World. When I saw this, it was like a light bulb went off in my head. "These subtle differences are what you can enjoy. "It's fashion, it's the joy of living." When it comes to custom fabrics, we tend to make things with "unusual patterns" or "unusual fabric structures." So, it's interesting because it's a fabric that's hard to find these days, but it's a different direction. In a way, I think it's true luxury. Two colors of corduroy for a wintery look. And when you think of WORKERS, you think of chambray. It's a fun fabric that changes color with washing. The right page is the original that was used as a reference for the specifications. This particular item is too large, so it is only a reference for the "specifications". A different item was used as a reference for the overall silhouette. When I look at something for reference, I collect as many as possible and compare the differences in size and specifications between each item to find the best match in terms of "the look of the item" and "ease of wearing and functionality." I try to find a store that sells clothes. (Thanks to that, my workplace has an unusually large amount of clothes, so I'm going to start an online shop when I retire.) The six-button design has five buttons on the placket and one on the collar, for a total of six. As a result, the space between the collar and the first button on the body opens slightly wider. From here, you can see the T-shirt underneath. It is said that the casual look is good! However, if it is visible, the T-shirt underneath, if the neck is loose, it looks dirty. I recommend something that is tight but not too thick. I would like to recommend a WORKERS T-shirt, but the 2PLY T is a pocket T, so it's difficult to match. Next year, I'll be looking for a 6-button shirt. Shall we make an inner T-shirt? For current products, I recommend a thin one with a binder around the neck. It's surprisingly hard to find one like this. Soffe's pack T-shirt is "thin fabric, with a tight neck" I recommend "Binder", but recently, imports have been unstable due to the weak yen.
