Description

This garment evokes the image of trees standing quietly, glistening with the lustrous rain of the rainy season. The subtle differences in the size of the small bumps and indentations in the center and sides of the bodice represent the raindrops of the rainy season, while the triangular pattern from the shoulders to the hem expresses the moist, shimmering appearance of rain-soaked trees. The base fabric, a pique knit, has a textured surface that minimizes contact with the skin, resulting in a smooth and comfortable feel. Using a technique called plating knitting, where different yarns are used for the front and back sides, the garment features two colors, creating a textured and nuanced look. The garment is finished with a design inspired by kimono patterns, a staple of YASHIKI, to create a soft, relaxed silhouette when worn. Side slits add a touch of lightness. The cuffs feature the brand's iconic [Yagasuri] pattern.
The buttons are made from natural black mother-of-pearl. Each button has a unique appearance and a beautiful, elegant iridescent sheen.
